Classic movie lovers in Auburn, California! Join us for Silver Screen's 16th year. Throughout 2012, on the first Saturday of the month in the
Auburn Library's Beecher Room, we delight in these movies from another era, laughing and gasping at stars such as Cary Grant,
James Stewart, Katharine Hepburn, Spencer Tracy, Clark Gable, and Marlene Dietrich.
Celebrate with us as we honor an age long gone but fondly remembered.
Presented by the Library,
the movies are shown at 1, 4, and 7:30 p.m. in the Beecher Room of the library, at 350 Nevada St. in Auburn. Admission is
free.
From 7 to 9 p.m. on the Monday following Silver Screen, join
Susan Rushton for a deeper discussion of the movie at Round Table Pizza in Auburn Town Center, 370 Elm Ave. in Auburn. Just
bring $5, that month's discussion sheet -- available before the movie -- and an interest in looking at movies more carefully,
finding more to enjoy in them. No purchase necessary.
